PlatinumPDF provides a suite of PDF and document manipulation tools that operate **locally in your browser**. Our services include, but are not limited to, merging, splitting, compressing, and performing OCR on PDF files. We do not require account registration or file uploads to our servers for core tool functionality.

2. Permitted Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use PlatinumPDF for personal or professional use. However, you agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the browser-based tools.
  • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers) to access the site in a manner that sends more request messages to our servers than a human can reasonably produce.
  • Bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the service.

3. Document Privacy & Ownership

**You retain 100% ownership of your documents.** PlatinumPDF does not claim any rights to the files you process.

Note: Since processing is local, your files never leave your computer. We do not have copies of your files, and we cannot recover files if you lose them or if your browser crashes during processing.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

PlatinumPDF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

While we strive for high-quality document output, document processing logic (especially OCR and compression) is complex. We do not guarantee that the results will be 100% accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of Liability

PlatinumPDF shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, or for the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of PlatinumPDF after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
